New Detox Building at WTC
Wilmington Treatment Center is adding 48 beds for drug and alcohol detox to meet the growing demand for those seeking recovery. “These additional beds are so needed because of the epidemic of opiate addiction,” said CEO Robert Pitts. “This disease is killing people every day and we are committed to doing all we can to help people on the road to recovery. At Wilmington Treatment Center, we have more than 30 years of experience helping people successfully manage the withdrawal process, and these beds will greatly increase our ability.”
Construction is slated to be completed by the end of 2017 with the beds being licensed and available by January 2018.
