Wendy was born in Wilmington, NC but grew up in rural Wyoming. She attended the University of Wyoming for her undergraduate degree, earning her BSN in 2010. She worked as a nurse at the Wilmington Treatment Center for many years while pursuing her Master’s degree through Chamberlain University, which she was awarded in 2022. Wendy is passionate about helping all people with substance use disorders. Wendy has a special interest in pregnant women and mothers with substance use disorders. She cherishes spending time with her husband and their four children. Wendy enjoys relaxing in the sunshine, activities at the beach and lounging at poolside.
